Teenage Grandfather Head @ Lucky Bar may 07

Teenage Head. Frankie comes to town… This is a historical Canadian punk band. They have played punk rock since 1978. Ontario was their home. Their first few records are a must own for any Canadian music enthusiast.
So tonight some thirty years later the original band comes to the sleepy town of Victoria B.C. They play to a splatter of people, some of the older folks in the audience probably saw this band back when they where teenagers… Now they are old. Frankie looks like a well used logger only he probably hasn’t been logging. As soon as they took to the stage and the first cord was struck I realized we where seeing the real thing here. Original punk rock that ranks with the likes of Ramones, Subhumans, Clash, Iggy, and Gene Vincent.

“Picture my Face”….I’m glad I went and can add them to my personal list of amazing bands that have played Victoria. All I can say is Teenage Head are the real thing…. Not poser imitators like the first two bands!
