Chris Buck moment

Last week i was moving boxes from my attic and loose in one of the boxes was a newspaper clipping of my friend Chris Buck who passed away years ago. I went to another box with a file folder containing All your ears Can Hear stuff and put it into the Beaten Ret's, Chris's band slot... i looked through the documents and found a hand written note by Chris with his phone # on it. Chris was born june 21 1966, and i was born june 22 1966 at the Royal Jublee... we shared a room together the first days of our lives and always talked about that when we saw each other on the street.... now this is where it gets weird. last weekend i volunteer for a recycling program behind the arena in esquimalt. we were shutting the place down and the last table to be torn down has the cash box and a pile of CD's on it. i walk up to the table and on the top of the cd stack... on the top... is a burnt cd with the words Pacific Frontal System dated 01 with Chris's name and his phone # on it. It is nice to have visits from people that aren't with us anymore.....absolute music.
