As I pray to a loving god above…. An artist named Joe Petagno illustrates the darkness of below. His art reeks of horned beasts battle and sacrifice. Blood fire and lightning coat the sky as decapitation is inevitable and the fanged jaws sink deep into the meat. This book takes you on a journey through a generous portion of this artists heavy metal work, but one of the main reasons I ordered this book is Joe is responsible for painting some of one of the greatest rock-n-roll images…. The Motorhead skull. Yes that skull that every male teen mental head wants tattooed on their body. This book is a must for any metal head/ horror book collection. Hunt it down and own it. I will still continue to pray to a loving god and hopefully Mr Petagnos world will remain on paper and canvas….. and your heart will remain safe in your chest cavity.
